Is the monster supposed to be an alien? That's how I looked at it. It made more sense to be an alien than some random monster. Seems scarier if it's an alien. Because it's been "said" that aliens may exist somewhere.

The background music that starts at 0:50 is the same background music they used in season 3 episode 3 where stefan finds elena in the closet in his old apartment. How I noticed that is beyond me! lol

I think they should have kept Bonnie's death hidden until this moment. It would have been an amazing moment for the viewers and especially for Bonnie fans.
