Baby owl trying to swallow rat
Saw one of the baby owls trying to swallow last nights leftovers. But I think it was a bit too big for him.
@zione No, they were hatched in our attic and had to be relocated to a box we put out in our yard, they grew up and flew away after a few months. I merely documented them while they were growing up.

A nice closeup of my almost grown owls
I took this video on 7/21/07. The owls are getting much more active and at dusk are starting to venture just outside the nest box.
