Too many children are given up due to a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I wish family preservation superseded family separation (adoption).

To any mother hesitating to write a letter to their child before relinquishing them, I say go for it. I was never able to hear my mother's voice or read a letter from her. Trust me, one letter will immensely help your son or daughter through a lifetime of loneliness.

We never "move past" being adopted but we learn to live with it.

Thank you so much for this video. I lost my mother when I was a baby, and growing up I pretend that Bambi's mother's voice was the voice my mother had. This video never fails to bring me to tears. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
