What a great debate! McCain made mincemeat of Obama -- even Obama had to admit that McCain was right - again and again and again and again.

You are right and yet John McCain has done the same with Georgia and Dart Fur. If he is a great leader he would have said something on Dart Fur.

I'm far from a McCain fan, but he was not "owned" here, and he did not eat his words. Somalia and Iraq are very very different and I think this was a very weak attempt on Russert's part to discredit McCain. Anyone who didn't see right through this is grasping at straws. And I'll say this: there is no need to grasp at straws. There are bales and bales to choose from. On a related note, you might enjoy the clip of Governor George W. Bush talking about how nation-building, in general, is a bad thing.
