I always think that David Ackles hints at globalisation and environmental concerns in this song more or less 40 years before "Rio + 20". Maybe I'm wrong to to extract these elements from the lyrics. But it's kind of impressive to consider such vision and foresight.

This is one of my 3 favourite love songs. It's the one I think of as being "real" rather than "romatic/dreamy" or "spiritual". There's no "happily ever after" with David Ackles. He's too well-connected to reality for that.

Great performance. And for some reason I prefer the saxophone of Larry Williams on this take of "Dolphin Dreams" over the studio version with Ernie Watts (viz. "On the Line") That's some achievement considering how well Lee Ritenour and Ernie Watts collaborate!!

The definition of happiness! Pity that there are so few views. The world could benefit from more of the joy that this type of music can provide.

It may be just me, but when Ii listen to this particular song I always feel that Bob James and Earl Klugh bring the best out of each other. They are wonderfully complemetary in this setting. Thanks for posting.
