Today I bought a new $300.00 Tripod and love it. Didn't do an unboxing but instead I did a smashing of my old one. Sorry I filmed with my old camera and didn't use the new one.
Hmmm maybe smash my old camera...
The new tripod I got is a Manfrotto 190xdb http://tinyurl.com/newtripod and so far is a steady, good quality tripod. A lot better than I expected.

It's finally here, the new short action film by Dillon Pearce and his Crew. It was filmed with my new Canon HV20 and I will upload high quality (.mov so you will need quicktime) version of it on my website once it is finished. I bought a $200 microphone and a wide angle lens for my camera but haven't received them yet unfortunately.
The script we originally had planned didn't quite work out since some actors couldn't make it, so we needed to make one up on the spot a little. We ended getting one done and just need more time to film. At this moment there is 3 days left until school and I am busy all of the days working so might need to finish on the weekend so may not be up for a few weeks.
I was filming 90% of it, so there will be more camera moves and makes the video more interesting.
Hope you enjoy the movie, and straight after this one we will plan the next one which will guaranteed be more professional and a better since we will have a full script including a storyboard and rehearse the scenes more.

This is a school assignment for the end of the term. We went to the City in Melbourne for 5 days (had to catching a train there and back each day) and visited some amazing places in Melbourne.
We went to Syn FM and had the chance the host our own radio show (I was the Board Operater, fading in the music etc which was pretty fun). Visit the Magistrates Court, Parliament House, MCG, Botanical Gardens, Eureka Tower and a few other cool places.
The Eureka Tower is the tallest residential building in the world and the tallest building in Melbourne. I enjoyed filming this awesome experience in the City and hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did putting it together.

To do the express elevator hack simply hold down the level you want to go to as well as the close button for five seconds. To stop an escalator from working pull the black rail the opposite way and that will stop the escalator.

Here is my first review, for the new video camera i bought, the Canon HV20.
Overall I rate this camera 9/10
I know there is a model up called the Canon HV30 but the price is higher with barely any new features except 30p rather than 24p. Here is details on the Canon HV20
