Terrorism is the calculated use or threat of violence to intimidate civilian populations for political gains. Yes, taxpayer Americans fund the biggest terror state to enrich the 1/10 of the 1 percent. Normal Americans don't profit from US-backed dictators in the third world and the good investment opportunities there. Muslim terror is minor.
