This is "Moody's Mood For Love," a song that was adapted from one the greatest solos ever. James Moody played a standard, "In the Mood for Love," in Europe in the 40's and everybody loved it. Eddie Jefferson later transcribed the solo and set some of the most beautiful duet lyrics to both the saxophone solo and the piano solo.

It's been recorded by a lot of people other than James Moody. The most popular versions are the first vocal version performed by King Pleasure and an arrangement performed by Brian McKnight and Take 5 for a Quincy Jones album. I don't know when mine will come. But, I will be recording this song at some point within the next 10 years.
