About live electro band from germany
The german band 'die spielwiese' (translates to 'playing field') from Wiesbaden/Mainz are six musicians and two video artists on their mission to give the usually electronic music style of drum and bass a handmade redefinition. The mixture of instrumental tracks and songs dominated by the jazzy voice of Silvia brings plenty of movement to the dancefloor. Singing combined with drums, double bass, guitar, synthesizers, turntables and visuals results in a live experience beyond usual gig structures. The songs are performed mixed like a dj-set. The feedback of gig visitors shows that the band concept catches more than 'only' drum and bass fans, because of its variety and organic performance.More information, pictures and dates at: www.die-spielwiese.org
