Didjeridu Dingo is a 6 piece Australian instrumental band with three didjeribone and didjeridu players added to a drums, bass and guitar rhythm section. All original music, we explore the musical, tonal and rhythmic possibilities of the didjs while trying to recreate the mood and feel of the Australian landscape, particularly the Blue Mountains in New South Wales where we all live.
The didjeribone, unlike the didjeridu is capable of playing different notes and therefore adds a haunting, melodic quality to the music. The band's music is an exploration of sound and mood and it's relation to the landscape. Usually playing outdoors in inspirational settings, didjeridu dingo aim to add the listener's environment to the musical experience.
