About Welcome to a bit of my world...
On November 17, 2007 I underwent weight loss surgery. I was morbidly obese and had to do something about it to stay healthy. I didn't want a gastric bypass, so I opted for the gastric sleeve, which was what the doctors recommended anyway. I decided to share this journey with the world, in hopes of helping and informing other people that are thinking of having surgery. So if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. =)
by the way my screen name can be pronounced die-anna-lu haha i have been asked many times :)
Highest Weight BEFORE surgery: 235 lbs.
Starting weight - 11/17/07: 220 lbs. (MORBIDLY OBESE)
Current weight - 06/03/09: 141 lbs.
Lowest weight w/ surgery Nov-Dec 08: 129 lbs.
Im a pretty short girl; I stand at 5'1 1/2" so I was pretty heavy for my height.
