Dialogue in the Dark is an awareness-raising social franchising company, offering exhibitions and business-training in total darkness, creating jobs for the blind, disabled and disadvantaged worldwide. Its exhibition uses blind guides to lead visitors in small groups through different settings in total darkness where they learn how to interact without sight by using their other senses, and offers the public an experience that can change mindsets on disability and diversity, and increase tolerance. Over five million visitors from more than 20 countries have experienced the exhibition, giving over 5.000 blind people jobs since its first opening in 1988.
