She definitely IS the best singer on the planet, but Eydie Gorme, in her day, was right up there on top too. Of course we also have Celine today. Patti Labelle has quite a range is is great when she's not screaming; ditto Aretha. Chaka doesn't belong in that group at all.

There was no one better in her hayday than Eydie Gorme, a fellow Bronx gal like me. I wish I could sing half as well as her and this song is, in my estimation, the best and most beautiful song she ever did. Love ya, Eydie!
