federal q's sound cool, but in NYC they don't do much good. Emergency vehicles are only going to go as far and fast as traffic allows, and in larger cities with heavy traffic, bumping an electronic siren will do as much good as riding a Q, with alot less confusion from echoes and less inate hear...

I loved it when the OD patient was leaned forward, apparently vomiting, and the paramedic threw her head back like "why me?"...I think that was the most realistic part of the video lol

To his credit, the guy in the bunker pants at least grabbed a rake and tried to go to work. The other 2 guys were looking pretty helpless for a few minutes.....

Awesome present..I know you don't have to be told how much time your dad devotes to his job, but as an EMT and former patient, I see what we do from both ends.

Thanks for sharing that. I weathered the Drought and worked the wildfires as an EMT here in Texas this year, and as much as I hate snow (I spent 2 years in Oswego, NY), that does give me much cooler thoughts lol.

@nate482, when my stepdad had a MI and coded in rural Kentucky, a BLS first responder was on scene within 5 minutes, took over CPR from me, hit him with an AED, and had him on high flow oxygen by the time the MICU capable ambulance showed up 15 minutes later....at which point they took over care,...
