Name: Dave
Age: 38
Country: United States
Movies and Shows: Not much. So, I'll use this space to say this: If you don't know some of these names, stop reading this now; immediately type the unfamiliar name into your search engine and absorb the enlightenment. Robert Ingersoll. Baron D'Holbach. Bertrand Russell. Baruch (Benedict) Spinoza. John Stuart Mill. Thomas Paine.
Music: I grew up on rock--from The Beatles to Metallica. As life progressed, however, I discovered Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Paganini, Rachmaninov, and so forth. Then I found the blues, jazz, bluegrass, and on, and on. While, I still love rock-n-roll--I always will--now I enjoy any music skillfully presented. I demand from music only one of the following: Technical mastery; sublime ascetic appeal; or, a display of superb native talent. And my favorites combine all three.
Books: Atheism: The Case against God—George H. Smith, The God Delusion—Richard Dawkins, God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything—Christopher Hitchens, The End of Faith: Religion Terror and the Future of Reason—Sam Harris, Letter to a Christian Nation—Sam Harris, Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon—Daniel Dennet, Darwin's Dangerous Idea: Evolution and the Meanings of Life—Daniel Dennet, Good Sense (Le Bon Sens)—Baron D'Holbach, Why I am not a Christian—Bertrand Russell, Religion and Science—Bertrand Russell, Infidel—Ayaan Hirsi Ali, The age of Reason—Thomas Paine, Lectures of Col. Robert G. Ingersoll vol. 1, 2—Robert Ingersoll, The Varieties of Scientific Experience: A Personal View of the Search for God—Carl Sagan, The Demon Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark—Carl Sagan. The Science of Good and Evil—Michael Shermer, Atheism: A Reader—ed. by S. T. Joshi. Many Many More!!!!!

Your story is more plausible than YEC.
Death and Afterlife (1 week ago)
@ Rhology My "bias" is only for the obvious and unmistakable truth. Certainly, the plain and simple fact that death is the absolute end of existence may understandably feel "odious"; alas, no matter how unpleasant the fact may feel, it is nonetheless a fact. Mythological coping mechanisms, no matter how venerated and elaborate, cannot change the obvious facts. If you need to cling to fantasies, that is fine. Please do so. However, do not insist that others co-sign you delusions.

LOL! It does read as a masters training manual.
Death and Afterlife (1 week ago)
@ Rhology, If you care to, you can go to any cemetery and watch the process. Hey, you can even check out the massive forensic research facility in Georgia where there many rotting corpses in various states of decomposition. We know EXACTLY, in minute detail, what happens to us when we die. It is, in fact, a science. No matter how much you don't want it to ever end, you cannot change the FACT: it does end.

Descartes used doubt to discredit illusion as an explanation to our experiences of life, and a lot of so called Skeptics or Freethinkers use their doubt only in one direction or rather one side of an argument creating bias such as your YouTube profile. I am pointing this out because you seem to be under the influence, along with much of your subscribers, that you are accomplishing a more accurate and undisputed claims borrowed from the names listed. Frankly, you are just as emotional as Blind Faith Christians and therefore irrational.
