It does bother me that there were no military jets scrambled immediately in a very well-monitored no-fly zone. How long was it up there before those guys started filming it? I bet the military could have jets there in 2 minutes or less. Maybe it didn't show up on radar???

With a light that bright over the whole city, I don't understand why this isn't huge news. It even looks like there were some car lights driving nearby. Wouldn't you like to get hold of those people and ask them what they saw...

I don't think ball lightening works here as an explanation. Everything I've seen on the internet for ball lightening says/shows the ball traveling down or sideways (then dissipating or exploding), but NEVER back up towards the sky. This is too weird.

It's not a mosque - it's a muslim cultural center, and it's not on ground zero, it's 2 blocks away. Exactly how many blocks away would be acceptable - 2 1/2 blocks? 3 blocks? 4 blocks? Where do you draw the line? I think Republicans are making this up to be a distraction just to raise people aga...
