I'm not looking forward to the forced change for channels either. Regarding backgrounds, I really like patterns for some odd reason. I've used a few tiled images on my channel and I currently use them on my websites.
Haha I did like your songs, was just surprised about the level of detail in the description. I've been trying to convince Evil-Dog to make POM1 into a phone app already. I think it would be perfect for on-the-go people. I'll also put your videos into the POM1 playlist on the Official POM Youtube. The quality is on-par with the POM1 intro I posted; didn't notice any compression artifacts. I do other video work and codecs, container formats & bit-rates can be a pain to figure out. Arrrrg.
