most of the frustration i get watching these vids is when he doesn't learn from his mistakes. case in point was blight town. he whined when he got poisoned. but did he go buy/farm purple moss? no. then he let 2 phantoms do all the work on quelaag and allowing one to die when he had 6 flasks left....

@GameFrontDotCom this was a *major* problem when the game first came out (these videos were made when the game was just released) getting summoned was a crap shoot at best before the 1.05 patch.

lol! i had to chuckle when you skipped through kaathe's long-winded speech. also, in order for kaathe to show up after the four kings boss fight, you have to have the lordvessel with you. if you already gave it to frampt, you're out of luck for the current playthrough to join the darkwraiths.

saying "you have to cheat" is about as lame as it gets. you don't need maxed out stats to beat an ng+ boss, not even the 4 kings. i saw one walkthrough where the player using light armor, no iron flesh and a vitality of *maybe* 25 tops beat 4 kings handily.

you can't be invaded in an area where you've beaten the boss. i think that includes darkroot forest, but someone also told me that any type of equation that exists outside the forest where you cannot get invaded/summoned by someone who is not within 10% of your soul level is thrown out the window...
