About Me:
My name is Devarsirat das. I am a direct disciple of His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada since 1976 and I am trying to become a proper Vaisnava. If you think that you need a spiritual master, I can direct you to a genuine person. A Vaisnava is a true devotee of Lord Krishna and a First Class spiritual gentleman.
His Divine Grace
Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
has been my initiating Spiritual Master
since 1976, And His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja, is my
Siksa Guru. Both Personalities are
such genuine spiritual gentleman and pure devotees of Sri Krishna.
I see this site as a spiritual outlet, cultivating and inspiring people of all religions, nationalities and cultures, in devotion of God, Krishna. God is one, yet he has many names much like the sun has different names in different parts of the world. According to the Vedas, God's Name is Krishna, which means "The all attractive one".
I live in the UK and I hold several programs every month, focussed on glorifying God through singing, dancing, worship of the lord (arathi), discussing philosophy, and finally having vegetarian prasadam (sanctified food/food offered to the Lord) together. Together we believe in developing loving relationships, guiding, encouraging, and inspiring each other in spiritual practices and spreading the message of God.
If you have any questions, please send me a message via You Tube. Please don't forget to subscribe.
Hare Krishna!
About Self Realization
The Revelation of Krishna God is the greatest gift possible in a human life. Everyone should take advantage of such a wonderful opportunity, unfortunately
a great number of seekers fall victim to imposter gurus out of ignorance what to look out for. Spiritual realization, requires a genuine spiritual master and initiation. It can never happen by our own mental endeavour.
Vaisnavas and most Hindus believe that there is one Supreme God who has many names, like Jehovah or Allah, but we take the Name of Krishna, which means (the most attractive person) and is the oldest recorded Name for God.We consider the name of Krishna, to be non-different from Him and chant these names, as mantras, for purification of the heart. We have many scriptures, most of which where written in Sanskrit and my Spiritual master Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada translated them into English. The most famous scripture is the Bhagavad-gita (the Song of God), which teaches that all living beings are individual eternal and spiritual by nature. Bhagavad-gita also teaches how to develop love for God and his creation. We also believe in reincarnation ,that after this life we will take birth again. We also believe in karma that what we do in this life determines what will happen to us in our next life. The goal is to develop Love for God, escape the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, and to return to the spiritual world. We understand, that all creatures are embodied spiritual souls, so we lead a life of non-violence and will not eat meat, fish, or eggs. Our devotional practice is called Bhakti Yoga
Bhakti is the fountainhead of transcendental ecstasy, hence it is an unlimited ocean of ananda. The sensual material pleasures nor the ananda of impersonal Brahman realization multiplied a million times are NEVER equal to a mere drop of ecstasy from the unlimited ocean of bhakti. Gross material pleasure is dismally insignificant and the bliss of Brahman that one obtains by achieving mukti after negating such material pleasure is dry and insipid. Both of these so-called joys are diametrically opposed to the transcendental divine bliss of suddha-bhakti—such antipodes should not be compared. The bliss of suddha-bhakti is so intense and overpowering that any other types of happiness, including that of Brahman realization, seem empty and insignificant—as if a little puddle were to be compared to the vast bottomless ocean. The pure devotee relishing such ecstasy knows his joys, others can only speculate.
Many thanks
