@runaway817, yes, you are very observant Ü. if you read 1 of Amy's interviews, she said that it was deliberate she never touches the ground in this video, as a metaphor that she is (singing from the) dead.

Funny bits, but it still seems like he was polishing and perfecting his material for it to be as hilarious as it has been in the last 8 years or so. His jokes about women having all the power, and then the separate joke of loving the look in a child's eye - right when you take them out of your t...

At long last, this heroic, long suffering leader is released. I pray that her release is genuine and permanent, or that at least she can escape Burma if her freedom or life is again jeopardized. I can't imagine that the military junta will discontinue threatening, harrassing her, or worse. Aun...

I think Amy has a gorgeous voice, and this is a good performance. No singer ever has a perfect record of sounding flawless every performance, just like anyone in any other profession. She and the rest of the musicians in Evanescence are undeniably talented.

@Centarri1992, there was so much in Rice's story that was potentially considered disturbing and offensive, some compromises had to be made with characters & scenes. Banderas did a fantastic job portraying Armand, and it was just easier to have a more worldly, older depiction of Armand, than find...

3:52 is so intensely mournful...It perfectly conveys when Louis reaches out to carress Claudia's burnt, ashen body, and Claudia's and Madeleine's burnt remains just disintegrate like cigarette ashes. Brad Pitt's face in this scene powerfully, poignantly expresses Louis' loss and heartache. I th...

@SanguinaryAnima, it certainly would! This soundtrack should have also included Georg Friedrich Handel's beautiful Terpsichore and Harp Concerto in B Flat that played after Claudia was changed into a vampire, and Louis was describing to Daniel about he and Lestat "raising" and teaching her.

"The Western kind of emptiness...is tinged with so much negativity, fear, and self-loathing that it affects all of our relationships. It gets in the way; it obscures or clouds our ability to love. It's a kind of poison that wraps around the heart and makes our own heart inaccessible to ourselves, and it tends to situate for us in our own minds this idea that help has to come from the outside, that another person has to take our pain away, that our lover has to do that for us or that we have to go back and get our parents to do that for us. What Buddhism teaches is that the connection, the ability to find intimacy or connection, is inherent within us, and that if we can just surrender back into that capacity for love, that is all of our birthrights--all babies are born with that; they instinctively love their caretakers. So if we can find that again, then our relationships will take care of themselves." Psychotherapist & author, Mark Epstein.Country

Chapter 73 of The Tao Te Ching:...Heaven looks down on both and who knows the truth? So even the sage admits some things are beyond her or him.
The Tao of Heaven doesn't struggle, but it wins through.
It doesn't ask yet always hears the answer.
It doesn't demand, yet things come because they want to.
It has no desires and yet everything works out as planned.
And though the Net of Heaven is wide, not even the smallest whisper escapes it.
@AydelTempess, the first song is "Going Under". Ü
