Magnum got hurt driving his corvette, not a motorcycle. I grew up just south of Charlotte and remember the news broadcast and it showed the car wrapped around (literally) a telephone pole. He recovered somewhat but never enough to step in the ring again.

Gary Hart was a true treasure for the Wrestling business. Wrestling needs more men like him if it ever hopes to attain the success it once had (other than breaking the stranglehold which goes without saying). Sad sad day when he passed.
