About this user

Making short films has been first a hobby and then become a passion of mine over the last 10 years. As a professional photographer, it was an exciting step I could take thanks to the progress and democratisation that has taken place in camera technology, and moreover, the internet.

I base my films often on pieces of music (sometimes also on my own humble attempts), and as such I am grateful to the artists of these works for their often inspirational contribution to what you see here.

I hope that now and then, my love of this "democratic" film making can sometimes be appreciated in some way by others, and if not, I stand by these films as simple and honest expressions of what I have seen or felt at various times in my life.
