I rent a two-storey, semi-detached house with three others in the suburbs of Cork City ha, if you could call it a city, 'cause its' tiny!), and we only had very minor flooding in our area, thank God. Here are some interesting YT links about the Cork flooding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFzC7gEcHUw&feature=related; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I70GGIq0dhA&feature=related; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AC7O-Q8IhM. It's so surreal to see our beloved little city half-submerged! Some of my friends were without any water until Wednesday! Businesses are trading again now, so it isn't so bad, but my college was closed early yesterday until next Monday due to a water shortage (how ironic!).

Have a gr8 weekend! :-)

... Anyway, anybody who wants to survive in the highly people-centric entertainment industry (whether it's mainstream or fringe), needs to possess a strong sense of self-preservation and detachement. Otherwise, they're f*cked... Haha, that's right, I'm a Corkonian through and through! My great-grandparents on both sides were from Cork, too! But I get people thinking I have some Spanish or Italian in my blood, which is hilarious when you know the truth about my 'recent' heritage...

I know, isn't it heartless how nobody visibly gave a damn about where Ingrid Superstar trotted off to? She had been having problems b4 that, insofar as going missing for periods of time, using hard drugs, and allowing herself to be used by men. That behaviour should have been a warning sign to anyone who cared about her welfare. I agree that she was a bit of a drifter before she appeared on The Factory scene, but I can understand how that would be the case because she was 20/21, she probably felt she didn't belong in mainstream society, and most people haven't figured out what they want by then anyway. I admire her guts. I'm sure other people did as well, perhaps even feeling threatened by it..

... Personally, I'm allergic to Christmas and the contrived 'let's all be happy and love each other' shite - I think a person should be loving towards family and/or friends all year 'round, not just because it's Jesus' birthday. There are some things I like about Xmas tho - the hymns/carols at church; observing OTT (and pretty displays as well) Xmas lights displays outside people's houses; and the stillness and serenity of early Xmas morning. I've been contemplating just staying on my own in the days following Christmas Day until just after New Year's Day because being around my family too much at this time of year every year usually drives me bonkers. Particularly my eldest sister, who is just.. ugh!..

Hello Jim! :-D

How are you keeping? Yeah, YT has its fair share of dullness alright - it has its fair share of idiots as well, from my experience. I mean, I see some of the comments by other users who are in disagreement with someone or something in relation to a video, and it's like, "STRAIGHT TO THE MISSILES!!". God knows what's going on in their lives that they wind up being such demonic eejits on YT.. You should try to get going with the blogging after Christmas - btw, keep dropping unsubtle hints about how you'd "love an Apple Mac" when in the company of friends and/or family!...

Hi Jim,

Good to hear from you and really great to see what you've done with old Denis and Louise.

And yup definitely read "Please Kill Me" - twice!!!

Hey Jim!

Always a pleasure leaving a thought on your vids. :-) I feel so sad watching the ill-fated Ingrid Superstar above. God knows where she went to?? :-/ Oh yeah, I think you need to pay either a monthly or annual fee ordinarily, but there's free blog hosting on wordpress.com, www.blogger.com, and okayblog.net. :-D You should go for it and get stuck right in there. Hell, I'll (very happily) subscribe to your blog if you decide to set one in motion. :-)

Have a gr8 wknd. Bad flooding here in Ireland and the North of the UK. :-/
