About this user

I am the son of a Houston Fire Department Captain and the nephew of a fallen Houston Police Department Officer. My mother, Ivy Raschke has spent years fighting corruption in our Harris County, Texas courts. She has been written about in books and was featured on HBO's documentary "America Undercover: Women on Trial," a documentary which exposed corruption in our Harris County Family Courts. That documentary eventually led to a landmark Texas Supreme Court decision which allows the media to scrutinize a judge's decision. During the time period of Dean Huckabee's Supreme Court Appeal, my family was sued by a false/fraudulent homeowners association, OFHA, Inc. for having small signs on our homes stating, "This is a House of Prayer." (My cousin's husband, Zack Derryberry became the President of OFHA after I was sued) I believe, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the corruption my family has endured has it's roots in retaliation for standing against corruption in our courts. Incidentally, Dean Huckabee, the Judge involved in our 1984 case bacame ineligible to practice law in 2007, the same day that Judge Linda Motheral also became ineligible. After the service which my family has dedicated to the City of Houston, why would the City of Houston continually harass my family?
