A long time ago, I just wanted to make films and have the music setting the mood just like in the movies. But...I didn't know anyone that would give me their music, so I just taught myself the guitar and the piano and starting writing my own tracks, my own songs and now I have enough for all the movies that I want to make. Lemme see, I've done some music videos and some flicks and I always seem to have 4 to 5 projects going on. That's a good thing.
I'm Derek and my buddy Darrell helps me with my music. We started off just jamming and then we did some gigs. I do the songwriting and Darrell does the musical layering. http://www.derekquill.com

Hello people I regret to inform you that my older brother DEREK R.QUILL passed away on Friday March 7....MY family and I will be making arrrangments on Monday the 10 th..and post it on his site....He was 38 years old..and had two kids...he was the oldest of four kids and will dearly missed...I;m having a hard time doing this right now ,but I want people to know about my Bro...R.I.P.....DEREK.R.QUILL..........Love SHELDON .E.QUILL
