Edward Fernandez, popularly known as Andezzz, is a bassist, songwriter, arranger, producer, and DJ. This multi-talented musician was a scholarship awardee and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Boston , majoring in Jazz Compositions.
ANDEZZZ started his debut solo in 2003, when he was nominated for The Best Electronic/House Music in Anugerah Musik Indonesia Award (Indonesian Musical Award) for his single, "Bersama", recorded under an independent label 'Voice of The People' in New York .
A year later, he joined with duo SOVA, a chillout/soulfulhouse/nu-jazz trendsetters in Indonesia. and had produced 2 albums and 2 EPs. In March 2004, SOVA was elected for MTV Exclusive Artist of the Month.
Shortly after that, in 2005, Andezzz released his second single, "Don't Make Me", in Jakarta Movement Compilation album under Aksara Records. Not only jazz and electronica, in 2006 he joined Nawaitu Project with Yudhis Dwikorana & Yandi, and several other musicians, to published a religious album, "1000 Tahun Lagi".
Enough is never enough for this gifted musician. In 2007, he formed [Departure:People] with Alvin Lubis & StÃsha Luwia, and released his first solo album, "MOVIN' ON", under Catz Records. Its hit single, "Pergi", made him well-known in music industry. He also recruited lots of talented singers in this album.
Still in the same year, he made the musical score for "Extra Large", a film by Monty Tiwa.
and now he 's actively gigging both as a DJ and Bass player around Jakarta.
This year (2008) he's busy with film scoring, his 2nd film will be launch on August 14th, another film from Starvision.
