A tribute to my favorite heavyweight of the 90s. The man had it all - size, skills, speed, power, chin and courage. No telling what he could have d...

I think Bowe was one of the most talented heavyweights of all time. He's on My Top 25 HW list! Man the early/mid 90's was a great time for HWs... Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, Moorer, Foreman. I would mention Lewis, but he wasn't elite until the late nineties when all of these other guys were past the...

Of course Roy Jones would have knocked him out in his prime.....he only fights 4 weight classes (28 lbs) heavier than Floyd. I do agree that the DLH of 2000-2001 would probably get a decision over Floyd. But other than that, Floyd does have talent, too bad he didn't use it to knock out DLH, or b...

All in all, it was a great fight.... one judge scored it 115-110 for Marquez. That means that he gave Marquez 10 rounds in a row, I just don't see that. I also don't see Pacquiao winning more than 6 rds total for his 115-110 score. So the draw was the fairest solution. Boxing Judges are flat out ...

Why didn't he fight Prince??? Prince Hamed? Maybe because Barrera pretty much exposed him as overrated and he retired after one last fight with a tomato can named Manuel Calvo....yea that could be it!!! Plus Manny really didn't become a force to be reckoned with until November of 03 when he got a...

(Cont) fighters fight until they just can't do it anymore. That's the game! Those who retire early/or undefeated never get anointed the best by anyone but their hardcore fans. Hardly anyone considers Marciano a greater heavyweight than Ali or Louis. Calzaghe will always be plagued for fighting in...

Calzaghe's main fault is that he ELECTED TO RETIRE after his two wins of way past their prime Jones and Hopkins. He could have had a bigger mark by sticking around a couple of more years and making fights with Chad Dawson, Jean Pascal, Lucian Bute, Carl Froch, and Andre Ward (none of which are ex...

@gonzomoya420 "you play football, nobody plays boxing" is a Jim Brown quote... "there's nothing more humbling than getting your ass kicked" and "everybody has a plan until they get hit" are Mike Tyson quotes. Either way it is a great sport!
So yes, he is p4p the best of his era, but at welterweight, i'm sure DLH, Trinidad, Whitaker, Pac, Mayweather, Leonard, Hearns, Duran all could have held their own against him. Whether they would win is all up to personal opinion
