About Me:
My name is Demas Narawangsa. I was born in Jakarta on April 9th, 1993. I started learning music since i was 5, starting with the Classical Piano. Since i was 6, i started taking drum lessons with Mr. Samboedi. When i was 8 years old i received a scholarship from LPM Farabi.
I have been awarded titles in the music industry which includes:
1st Place Winner in Indomusic Expo Drum Competition 2000 (General Category)
1st Place Winner in Yamaha Drums Competition 2002 (General Category)
The Best Drummer (Jakarta) Asian Beat 2003
The Best Drummer (Jakarta) Asian Beat 2004
Now, i also playing in various kind of music like jazz, latin, fusion, rock, pop, progressive, world music and many more. Besides as a founders of Kulkul Band, i also as a session drummer of several musician or band in Indonesia.
