PERSONAL BIO-
Nick 'Lush One' Carletti Hyams is a California based entertainer and entrepreneur with a distinct and charismatic style. He is first and foremost a hip-hop artist/emcee who has been heavily active in the indie scene and made quite an impression. Lush was born and raised in West Los Angeles, CA and has been residing in Oakland and the Bay Area for several years. He is the co-CEO of Grind Time Now, the world's largest hip-hop battle league with a huge internet presence worldwide. He is also co-CEO of bay area based promotion/event coordination firm COCONUTS ENT. Lush is signed to LA based progressive indie label EVER READY REORDS, is a member of the artist collective MACHINA MUERTE, and also signed to French electronic music conglomerate Chinese Man Records with whom he does large festival tours in Europe. Since 2003, he has executive produced several multimedia projects for himself as well as his various artists and affiliates from Delinquent Monastery, the Rollin Rockers, and the Fresh Coast movement. In 2011 Lush One is releasing 3 albums with Ever Ready Records in conjunction with the Machina Muerte imprint on indie powerhouse label ALPHA PUP RECORDS. The first of these projects entitled 'Gold Bricks In The Wall' is slated for release on February 5th.
