Hi I have been training since 1972 I began my training at Budokan UK. in 1993 I was awarded my yondan. Later due to problems within the association I found myself independant. Since 2000 I now own and run my own martial arts association 'Ni Kawa Kai' and in 2002 was awarded godan. I am researching and re examining the kata that I was taught. I am slowly altering them some people would say correcting them, and am altering them back to the old uchinadi way. During this research I discovered Uechi ryu karate, I now have a teacher but due to the distance between us and our work commitments we can only get together on rare occasions but he is helping me sort out a few problems and teaching me some very nice karate kata.
