I Loved this movie. There are no other people/crowds/traffic-- even the house interior is minimalist. All attention goes on the ACTORS and the roles they are playing. And... they are Great actors. Always loved the 72 version, but compared to this, it was somewhat dependent on the gadgets Olivier ...

.....and the "Top Cop" of the country wonders aloud why so many cops are being gunned down. This pig reminds me of "Private Pyle" in the movie "Full Metal Jacket." And like Pyle, the dumb fuck oughta just kill himself, cause he will never be anything more than a fat, dumb, power-tripping PIG.

I used to see Linda R. & The Stone Ponys play at a roller skating rink in Tucson, where i grew up. In fact, i did a lot of my 'growing up' at the 'ol Sunset Rollerama, esp. out in the parking lot....
