Dave Wyndorf with a Ramones look-I don't know what to say.

He cuts a photo out of a yearbook of some geeky-looking guys, captions it as a fake band promoting a single with this same song title, and damn if he doesn't create a masterpiece out of that odd little gesture. We all can't be Bob.

For all the debate on here, and aesthetics aside, this song just ROCKS!! The Rep rocks. None of it's in that Led Zep/Grand Funk way, but it's got the rock "thing."

I have been looking for this ad for years. I want to know where I can get that song, and who recorded it.. I presume that it's entitled "Every Time I Look at You". That song has gripped onto me ever since the ad's first running. Thanks!

This looks like a fan-made trailer created to resemble the iconic "Flash Image" trailer for Friedkin's "The Exorcist".

I have always wondered how he ended up sounding like this. All I can figure is that, somewhere in Warren County, in a cut-out bin, was a copy of "No. 1 Record". One day, this child prodigy country singer bought it for a couple of dollars or something. Then again, Bill Lloyd seems pretty bright...

A great song about a great songwriter. Has a whole new meaning, since the Travellin' Man escaped for good 13 years ago. Visited his grave a year and-a-half ago. It was a tough moment for me.

@salmonico Agreed, but no other visual element captures the zeitgeist of the 1993 Velvet Underground shows like that Klein guitar!! No one ever forgets Lou Reed's "Ugly Guitar".

Isn't this more about Phil than Bill? Not that Bill's parts in this song aren't just smokin'-it's just that this is one of Phil Seymour's finest recorded moments as a singer. Not counting the bass player from Mudcrutch, that band was arguably the most talented group, to a person, in the 1970's, ...

I really didn't think I'd enjoy Le Smith's newfound tendency to get funky-but it's infectious, and he seems to really get into it!! The Rep never stops growing, long after the other "alt" icons burn out!!
