The Ramones put out so much good stuff in the 80s that just got lost. Capped by End of the Century and Brain Drain, each album was different and each one was really good...but they didn't really put out anything in the 80s that sounded like the first four albums, which really puts to bed the lie...

This does sound pure black and blue. Mick and Keith are trying to be the Ohio Players. Black and Blue is actually a good album, and it's not ALL fund/disco. Crazy Mama, Hand of Fate are both hard rockers a la Brown Sugar. For Stones funk, for me, Fingerprint File will never be topped.
