i think that nise is her voice. its obviouse she is singing live but i think that sound is her damaged vocal cord as somone stated earlier. but like its stated all those performances she made this sound were during her first pregnancy

I'm not from this era and I'm a true die hard mariah fan and I love this version however mariah did do this song justice. We have to pay respect to its original owner but mariah definitly blow this song out the water.
