I'LL ALWAYS MISS THE LOVE I LEFT BEHIND written by Debra Lyn and Jeff Silverman, is the second video release from Debra Lyn's I CAN'T REMEMBER TO FORGET YOU cd. The video was produced and filmed by Stacie Huckeba, Images by Stacie, with the city of Nashville, TN helping to set the background for the story.
Debra states that, "This song has always been one that seems to resonate with people. It's very true to life and tells the story of a love that was lost and also of a lesson learned. The telling line is, 'If I have the chance again, I will take fait by the hand -- I won't make the same mistake again.' This is almost a universal theme these days, especially with so many women focusing their lives on careers. Sometimes you look back and see what might have been. You don't necessarily regret your decisions, but you vow to be more conscious of the new ones you make. Stacie really captures this hope that Jeff and I wanted to give."
Stacie Huckeba is a photographer and video producer with over 25 years experience. Her work has been featured in hundreds of local news and print publications across the U.S. and well as numerous album covers and promotional materials wordwide.
I'LL ALWAYS MISS THE LOVE I LEFT BEHIND also features some of Nashville's finest musicians:
Randy Kohrs (dobro/banjo/background vocals). Randy recorded, produced and performed on the 2008 Grammy Winning CD, "The Bluegrass Diaries" by Jim Lauderdale. Randy is a sought after session musician and has played on over 500 CDs including projects by Dolly Parton, Tom T. Hall, Sara Evans, The Wreckers & Little Big Town. Mike Johnson (steel) was the 2006 Academy of Country Music Association's Steel Guitarist of the Year. He was also a five-time nominee for this prestigious award and has played on numerous country projects with artists such as Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire, Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bently and Shania Twain. Gabriel Katona (piano) has performed and recorded with such legendary bands as Rare Earth, Redbone, Rick Springfield and later, Jefferson Starship. Ken Lewis (drums & percussion) has played with Vince Gill, Beth Neilson Chapman, Sixpence None the Richer, Trace Adkins, James Otto, Amy Grant and many others. James Mitchell (electric guitar) a new name in Nashville that has already played on projects with artists such as Brooks & Dunn. Jeff Silverman (Acoustic, Slide & Electric Guitars/Bass/Percussion/Background Vocals) is the multi-talented producer, writer and musician who also released "From The Vault (A Collection of works by Rick Springfield & Jeff Silverman)" in February of last year. He has been a staff songwriter at Motown/LA and has produced and/or co-written with a number of artists including: Michael Peterson, Nick Gilder and Debra Lyn. Jeff also mixed, mastered and edited for artists such as: Charice, Boyz to Men, David Cassidy, George Clinton and Prince and has performed live with Rick Springfield, Roger Miller and Redbone. I CAN'T REMEMBER TO FORGET YOU was produced by Jeff Silverman for Palette Productions in Nashville, TN and contains 9 original songs written by Debra & Jeff Silverman as well as a unique version of Harry Chapin's CATS IN THE CRADLE. Debra's first video for CD's title track was produced by Shari Belafonte and Sam Behrens for Sowelu Entertainment in Los Angeles, CA and can be found on her website and Youtube. The video was released in several different versions and has been viewed over 14,500 times on Youtube.
