Of course he's the best Benedict! It's easy to play the role within the context of Doyle's creation; it's another thing to make Sherlock Holmes believable in the 21st century! Benedict does this splendidly!

This is one of the most beautiful vocal versions of this I've heard. Andy Williams also has a beautiful version. The most beautiful version is the instrumental one, but I don't remember the name of the orchestra.

The woman in the trailer isn't the only woman in the movie. There are two, and both play what the theater calls "Fifth Business" parts, that is, they hold keys to the mystery of the mole, but they are generally ignored until Smiley (Oldman) starts to put the pieces together.
