PEOPLE OF THE LORD RISE UP! This channel for family and friends to celebrate the music of our lives. This music is a reflection of me and all of the people that have passed thru my life. My love and memories for them are strong! Each song has a time, a place. I simply wanted to share those wonderful memories thru music with others. God bless everyone!
About Me:
Life has changed so much for me in the past five years, but God's grace has brought me to a better place.
My Mom, for whom I was the primary caregiver for almost three years (from 2005 to 2008), is now living in a nursing home. I wish she could have remained here with me, but I just couldn't handle her anymore. Way too difficult and stressful!
My two oldest children are married and happy! My youngest son is living back at home for now. He is getting his life together too!
I came very close to losing my life in December of 2006, but the Lord had other plans in store. My near death experience has changed my life in so many ways.
My little grand daughter is now two and a half years old. She is so smart and talks a blue streak! She brings so much light into my life! Both "Papa" and I are enjoying having a little grand daughter! What a blessing the Lord has sent us!
Time goes by so quickly.
Find something to enjoy every day of your life! Trust in the Lord and He will give you rest! He is STILL THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!!!

Creative writer. Spend more time these days working on a few short stories. I need start on my book again and finish! Life was just to complicated for a few years there!I start keep my grandbaby on a weekly basis soon. Now, that will certainly keep me hopping! :) Even so, I look forward to the time with her. Making a little extra money isn't going to hurt either.

I graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, TX back in 1971.Guess I could say, "I have a degree from the school of hard knocks as well!" :)
Interests:
Sharing with those in my life my love of the Lord. I just keep trusting Him to lead and guide me through each and every day. I have been collecting miniatures since I was nine. Still enjoy doing that. Most were gifts from family and friends.I also enjoy writing song lyrics, poetry and short stories (working on a book right now) about my unusual life. I love container gardening. It relaxes me.A good time for me is being with my family, cooking out, playing horseshoes and listening to some great music from days gone by.
Movies:
Some of my all time favorites and not necessarily in this order: Viva Las Vegas, Silkwood, To Kill A Mockingbird, Sweet Dreams, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Days of Wine and Roses, Chicago. There are so many; I could list pages of them, but this is a good variety! Right?
Music:
This is hard because I love so many different kinds of music (you can tell by my video list). Kind of depends on my mood or what I am doing at the time and then I go from there. I love praise and worship music, when I want to just spend time alone with God. If I want to write, I like classical or easy listening music in the background. If I want to get happy, I just listen to some of the great songs from the fifties and sixties. If I want to dance, I get out my music from the seventies and eighties, but then I also enjoy praise, gospel, light jazz and the blues. I simply love music!!!
Books:
I enjoy reading a good biography or mystery and any true crime book by Ann Rule (she's the best). I guess, I just seek to understand people better (why we do the things we do) and so I read about the lives of others. The crimes people commit against their fellow man continue to perplex me...the evil that men do.My heartfelt feelings reflect what those of us who grew up in the sixties believed (we gotta all get together).
