Take a helping of guitar music, mix it with a little Hammond and Synthesizer sounds, a good shot of Rock'n'Roll and there you have "Death by Chocolate". The guys strike in the middle of your soul. With every note they play. With every line they sing.
Yes, nowadays music can be raw and uncut. Yes, even today a band can galvanize you and tear you out of the indifferent elevator music world. "Death by Chocolate" proved it -- with their debut EP "My Portable Love" and with about 140 gigs. Besides playing some important Swiss open-air they could also be the opening act for Bon Jovi and fire 40'000 people up. They could also already gather some tour-experience in playing ten shows in Germany. But that's nowhere near enough. "Death by Chocolate" wants more. Now they have more: Their debut album "From Birthdays to Funerals".
"From Birthdays to Funerals" is an album full of life. You can feel the experience of the successful swiss producers (Philippe Laffer and Thomas Rechberger). But most of all you'll feel the iron will to rock. A record that strikes across the boarders into everyone's soul.
