@Vend1cator91 Agreed. The first EP and Count Your Blessings were examples of great deathcore. While I quite like their following albums, they don't have a patch on the first two releases.

@OfficialFrosthammer Metalcore vocals sound that way because they take influence from hardcore. Whereas melodic DM utilises death growls. I wouldn't say metalcore is simpler or more repetitive, just more 'modern'. If you consider having a hardcore influence to sound 'gay', well, that's up to you.

@pukepal No problems. I've a £50 camera and I can get a decent recorded sound from it, so I find it hard to believe you get this tone from an HD camera. But yeah a SM58 hooked up to an interface is the way to go for high quality tone.

Perhaps one of the best recorded tones I've heard. The Engl Savage and Blackmore remind me of more compressed and brutal Marshalls. They have that mojo to the tone.
