The only problem with Pavarotti is you now listen to other tenors and....you cannot but compare ...it's going to take some time before there comes another like him. One day I ran from the kitchen when I heard his voice on TV .....who is singing? It was an amazing voice. ....Love at first note.

For years I have found this to be the most beautiful love song and Edith Piaf the best interpreter. I have heard in different languages, by different singers--no one can excel Piaf in interpretation, style, voice and sentiment.

This is a beautiful tradition and a great thing you are continuing it. Thank you for sharing it with us--a jewel,especially with the incomparable voice of Pavarotti--my favorite. Hope your children or anybody else in your family continues the tradition. Merry Christmas!

She has her detractors and admirers. I think she has a beautiful voice and she puts so much passion in her roles, that it is a pleasure to watch and to listen. Now, everybody has different tastes and that is OK . Keep the tone civilized and let's enjoy the music.
