@hornymaneee I think mainly because the bad *heavily* outweighs the good. John Travolta's done some good stuff, but he's mostly been shit, so I consider him a crap actor.

I've only ever seen this as part of the Grindhouse double bill, but I have to say, it is enormous fun.

I never liked Kick-Ass that much I never found it funny.

Super is a misjudged mess of a movie, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't fun.

The terrible thing is that the backing track is actually fairly decent, but the lyrics/singing are worse than running over your own pet

And of course the best film ever made, (Pan's Labyrinth), is very female centred :)

Look, big budget popcorn fare does not have to be stupid, crass and limp. Look at Die Hard. Look at Inception. Look at the Batman movies.

People will go see Transformers whatever happens inside the film, so Bay clearly doesn't care. He should at least try.

Look, the King's Speech is a great film, if utterly obvious Oscar bait. I personally think Black Swan was the best of the nominees, but I am not sorry at all that this won.

And it's a hell of a lot funnier than most comedies released.
