do some research also. these xc 500 sp's hold every stock record for 500cc sleds. the one i owned was gunned at 102.7 on radar stock and after modding was hitting 107.3. some people have gunned them at 105-107 bone stock

Definitely less torque for the lt1 it just makes it earlier so it feels different. My lt1 makes 498 ft lbs @ 3800. Def not stock though.

lt1 was the founding father of the lsx. i bought mine for 2500 and now have a 600hp camaro for 16k. u couldnt do that with an ls1 camaro considering ur gonna pay 9-10k for it out the door. that is one bad ride btw
