nice truck! good trucks to restore ,mine is a 84 also, black short bed 2wd 350, put a little work and money you get a lot back by long lasting, my truck before my last one lasted 18 years with orignal starter clutch,and u joints. 305 or 350 are good motors they are almost the same.
