About this user

What's going on World...as you can see by my page I'm obviously a drummer. I've been at it since between the 3rd and 4th grade. My first experience drumming was at my grandfather's church they needed someone on set to keep a beat so my cousin and I went for it. Later I had to tell my dad about what had happened that morning. See my father actually knew how to play, so when I shared my story it was then time for me to really learn.

Ever since then I've just been gradually building my skills through school. At the end of high school I took a few private lessons with an excellent Kansas City drummer, and Professor at UMKC Doug Auwarter. Then I went on to college where I now study under another excellent drummer Dennis Rogers.

It's been a crazy road so far but man I love it. Joining the rock cover band Harvesting Jane has helped me out a ton with playing consistently and for long hours every weekend. After my experience at the Full Throttle Saloon, meeting Zoltan Chaney and him putting me through book camp that whole week, it took me to a new level. Now I feel I've experienced all that I need to become successful. So I will just continue to grow with what I've learned as I venture through my career as a professional musician.

Energy, Passion, Skill, and Showmanship these are just a few important elements I bring to the stage. No matter where, or what the size of the venue is, at the end it's all about what was left behind for the audience. Pursuing the path of a musician takes what my father and I call "The Three D's", which are Discipline, Determination, and Dedication. With this type of focus engraved in my head and trust in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to lead me in the right direction, I will deliver the kind of excellence everyone deserves to have when I'm behind the drums.
