I praise God for His choosing of me
before the foundation of the world
and His work in me (Eph 1:3-14). He
will carry it on to completion until
the day of Christ Jesus (Phil 1:6).
So I press on with eyes focussed on
Christ (Phil 3:14). So, I'm seeking
things above (Col 3:1). I love my
wife and kids and want to be a good
Husband and Father so pray for me.
God has big plans for me and I want
to align myself with Him to
accomplish his purposes. So, life
is good. God is great! Here's how
o get saved: 1. Admit you are a
sinner - Rom 3:23 For all have
sinned and fall short of the glory of God...
2. The end of sin is death - Rom 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but
the gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord. 3. Jesus died
for you and arose from the dead -
Rom 5:8 - But God demonstrates his
own love for us in this: While we
were still sinners, Christ died for
us.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the
world that he gave his one and only
Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal
life.
1 Cor 15:3 For what I received I
passed on to you as of first
importance: that Christ died for
our sins according to the Scriptures,
4that he was buried, that he was
raised on the third day according
to the Scriptures, 5and that he
appeared to Peter,[b] and then
to the Twelve. 4. Put you trust
in Christ alone - Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been
saved, through faith—and
this not from yourselves, it is
the gift of God— 9not by works,
so that no one can boast. 5. Pray
to receve Christ into your life
right now - John 1:12 Yet to all
who received him, to those who
believed in his name, he gave the
right to become children of God.
6. Pray this to God with all your
heart: Lord Jesus, I know I am a
sinner. I know that the penalty
for my sin is death. I want to
trust you right now as my Lord
and Savior. Please come into my
heart and mold me into the person
you want me to become. I thank
you for it in Jesus's name! Amen!
