Hyenas are like noisy punks and it's fun when they get crunched/OWNED by male lions. Almost as awesome as migrating wildebeasts and zebras getting thrashed by enormous crocs when they try to cross a river. Giant predators = excellence.
If there is a God, we can assume that He (or She or It) knows all the things of His creation...but does He know who or what HE is? Maybe all of existence is God's own eternal vision quest into what He can do and be.
