The Jaguar slogan alone was a joke. Bits don't mean everything. I played the Jag years ago and I wasn't impressed at all (Dino Dudes and Tempest). I was all like "That's it?"

I didn't understand this commercial when I was a kid. But today I realize both sides were pretty silly. Coleco making an adapter for a competitor's games, and Atari dissing their own overproduced Pac-Man for 2600 and not showing Coleco's Pac-Man.

Wow, ten bucks more for 64 times the colors and a better audio system with less noise and voices that don't sound scratchy (look at Mortal Kombat 3 and any Street Fighter II on both systems). "Same"? Please.

SNES processes data 88% faster than Genesis. It also has 32,768 colors compared to Gen's 512, almost double internal memory, four more controller buttons, and an audio system with less noise. No wonder the narrator didn't answer his own questions or show his face.

Nothing was "skewed" and I had my "lesson" years ago. It's funny how Sega fans do as much card stacking as the commercials.

Of course a kid's not going to bring $179.99 into a toy store and buy a Super Nintendo. I wish the tooth fairy was that generous to me.

DKC ranked #2 in Time Magazine's top products of 1994 (#1 was the Chrysler Neon). The commercial was so true, showing that you don't need to add expensive hardware to your system to play it, you just needed the SNES itself. I'm happy to say that I pre-ordered it back then.

As if raunchy music weren't enough, now they have radio stations that ask people to air out dirty laundry (true or false) to a gossip thirsty audience. And for what? Kanye West? As crappy as his music is, the tickets should be cheap. Pick a seat.
