About Me:
Daze of Dawn is superb, original rock music - funky grooves of rock, grunge, metal, folk-rock and blues. Formed in 2001 when guitarist and frontman "Klyde" arrived in Spain after a time living in Japan, Daze of Dawn stand out from other Spanish groups for the simple fact that they dont SOUND Spanish. The band's "real" English lyrics and vocals give DOD an international appeal; making their personal, unique, and not-quite-commercial sound one of the hottest exports in the country.
Receiving steady airplay, DOD have released 4 albums, played in 2 of Spain´s largest rock festivals, and performed on various national radio and TV programs. Based in Valencia, the band has toured extensively throughout Spain and in other European countries.
Their latest album "YETI NATION", released in September 2008, weaves a sound and style that could sit comfortably with the great hard-rock albums of the 70's. Daze of Dawn is the best new live band you'll discover this year.
