The Dayton Newspaper Guild, Local 34157, represents nearly 150 newsroom employees at the Dayton Daily News including those on the universal copy desk that serves the 10 newspapers published by Cox Ohio Publishing.

The Guild has been bargaining in good faith for a new and fair contract with the company since December 2006 to replace a contract that expired in 1989.
