Ive got news for you, both of those calls were a Bard owl! They make eerie barking-like growls in addition to their normal calls. I have a trio of Bard owls that live around my house and they are constantly barking and making really strange squaking noises at one another. Great videos though!!!

Thats not a Cottonmouth (more commonly called a Moccasin). That is a non venomous species of water snake most likely a Banded watersnake. Its hard to tell because there are many variations of the Banded watersnake. They are totally harmless.
